Civicrm Profile Email Notification

Hello mates,

I am very new to CIVICRM

I am using it on Joomla 1.5.7

So this form I have created through this profile .. So i want to be notified on my mail whenevr anybody fills that form

So how do I do that? Where do i add my email address?

hi rahulbaba

Go to Administer CiviCRM >> CiviCRM Profiles. Click the Settings link for that profile. Under Advanced Settings, give your email address(es) in the "Notify when profile form is submitted?" field. I think this should work.

Just one more question

When the form gets submitted. Where Do i see the info which they have submitted? Is it just sent to the email or is there a place where I can see it on the site itself ?

You can use profile search mode and then view the contact.
http://<site url>/civicrm/profile?reset=1&gid= profile ID , then Search and View the Contact.

We also include Contact view link in the email.

Is it also possible to send an email confirmation to the user who files out a profile?

Not in 2.2, but this has come up a few times, so it might appear as a feature in a future version. Can you please file an issue
