We need to split credit card contributions so that a portion of the amount charged is listed as non-deductible. For example, we have an event with a $100 registration fee, $20 of which is non-deductible.

After looking through both CiviEvents and CiviContribute, I couldn't find a way to have this happen automatically when the transaction occurred using price sets or in the contribution page settings. I decided to just manually edit the contributions/event registration after they were submitted. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the "Non-Deductible Amount" field can be editted after a contribution has been submitted.

I can't imagine I'm the first person who needs to split contributions like this, so I'm looking for help here. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Has anyone found a solution to this yet? I am having the same issue where we are having an awards banquet and a portion of the registration is not deductible.
