Inline Custom Data in 2.2.beta2

I am trying to confirm that there is a problem with the custom fields after upgrading to 2.2.beta2 from 2.1.4

I had setup an inline custom field on relationships. After upgrade I get 'user warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "CRM/Contact/Page/View/InlineCustomData.tpl" in /var/www/drupal/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/Smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1094.' when trying to view relationship.

When I go to Custom Data, and do a preview it shows it with no complaints.

make sure u delete your files/civicrm/templates_c directory. Seems like the below is becos of old cached smarty files

Great, it worked.
It had a wider effect (of course), in particular it fixed http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-4161, which I opened today.
