hi,

I am just doing my first implementation of CiviCRM 2.1 on a joomla 1.5.9 front end...

I have a contribution form setup to take a donation. All works fine for me on firefox mac, safari mac and windows IE7.

Now the strange thing is I have a tester who says that the contribution form is showing the contact record of the first user in the CiviCRM system as the name in the billing name and address section... This is my name as I had to setup one user in the system some where along the way.  I have never been on her computer so there would be nothing cached there...

why would it be doing this?  I obviously don't want to have any details in there at all pre-populated from anywhere

and my second question would be why is it only doing it on her browser, and not on the 3 other ones i have tried. she is on mac safari... probably an older version.

thanks for your reply... I woke up in the middle of the night and did a little more searching and found out similar... that if someone is logged in it will put the data for that joomla user in the fields if there is a corresponding CiviCRM contact.

when we were testing she would have logged into the front end as an admin... when the joomla site was in maintenance mode.

i can only think that now she has a cookie set somewhere that is giving her logged in status as an admin even tho the site is now live and not in maintenance mode.

so i have reset the admin password and this should stop any cookie from working... will be able to confirm later today.
