Event Fees Issue.
February 26, 2009, 09:53:00 pm
Hi Guys

I have a civicrm installed at my client's host the version of civicrm is "CiviCRM 2.0.2." My Issue is related to the CiviEvent Whenever I create a new event and associate a Price Set with the same. It is not getting stored anywhere in the backend. That's why whenever I go to the admin and edit participant the price set is not selected and I am not able to then update the record as it gives me error of select event fees.

Any Idea on this. I have investigate that it is actually not storing value of the price set in the database anywhere. is this a bug or any resolution on this please help me as soon as possible.

Thanks

It would be good if you make sure that price value is not stored in civicrm_participant.event_level for corresponding participant record.

There are some issue like CRM-4090, CRM-3931  by which price values are not get set defaults.

I assume you are doing online event registration, also can you make sure for offline event registration for same event and price set.

Hi Kiran

during the day I found out something that it is storing the data in contribution, line_item etc..

One thing noticable is in table Line_item  I have 0 as option_group_id. is this something might be affecting to mark the price set on backend as selected..

Also please can you give some better relationship if you know between the tables and how it is stored

Thanks for your help once again

For offline registration - find / view a contact record. Click Events tab and then New Event Registration button. (If you're using Joomla - login in to Admin back-end first. Pls update your forum profile w/ all your info.)
