Fuzzy rule for Individual does not exist

Hi Folks,

When trying to edit an Individual's record in CiviCRM I receive the error "Fuzzy rule for Individual does not exist".  I am unable to find any forum entries which relate to this and do not know what might be causing the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

SITE-NAME/civicrm/admin/deduperules?reset=1  ( CiviCRM Admin --> Find and Merge Duplicate Contacts )

this error occurred only when fuzzy rule for contact type Individual not exist. (check it using above URL, if Rule is not present for individual then add it.)

Thanks for your response which solved the problem.  I had modified the Individual fuzzy search to make it a stric search without realising the ramification of what I had done.
