Hi,

How to handle the following use case?:

We have users managing contacts within civicrm. These contacts generally need to be added as cms users (drupal) by our crm managers. How does one create a cms user simultaneous with adding a 'New Individual' inside of civicrm?

I am using drupal 6.10 and civicrm 2.2.2.

Hi Gernot. Unfortunately, when you're within CiviCRM using the add new individual form, you can't simultaneously create a CMS user. BUT, whenever you create a drupal user you are also creating a CivICRM record. So whenever people need to create both, they should do it from the Drupal side. And if you include a profile that's used for user registration, they can fill out more than just the person's email address.

IMO currently it is not possible. You can use post hooks provided by CiviCRM, to create CMS user.
