Searching custom DATE field

Hello,

I am having trouble searching through custom date fields. Here is what I did on the demo system:

1. Changed 'Marriage Date' of contact with CiviCRM ID: 50 (Ms Melinda L Adams Jr) to 'January 2nd, 1993'
2. Clicked 'Advanced Search'
3. Under Custom field, select the Marriage Date as 'Jan 02 1993' (same as above)
4. Search returns no matches found

Is there anything I'm doing wrong here?

Looks like a bug, Can you file an issue for this in jira.

You can get the fix from http://fisheye.civicrm.org/changelog/CiviCRM/?cs=20136 or wait for next 2.2 beta..
