How many contacts?
March 03, 2009, 08:20:39 am
Is there any information on how big CiviCRM can be? And by big I mean how many contacts can it hold and still perform? Does anyone have any experience? I am approaching companies with possibly 10,000 to 50,000 contacts.

check: http://civicrm.org/node/496

for some stats. The answer to your question depends on how you deploy CiviCRM and how powerful the machines you use are :)

Thanks for the info, I guess I could have found that myself  ;D
And I understand the performance relies heavily on the kind of machine and usage. I am trying to think of the kind of questions that interested organizations in my field will ask in advance!
