admin pages not displaying properly
March 03, 2009, 10:01:48 am
I am migrating our site from one server to another. My first problem was that the global settings page was not displaying. That is now fixed by running the updateConfigBackend script a few times and changing some permissions in certain folders.

But I still have a problem with the way that CiviCRM pages are being displayed.

for examples see attachments (1st one is new, 2nd one is the old site):

Another example is that the contact search widget does not work.

I suspect it has something to do with how the new server is dealing with JavaScript.  Or how things are configured in such a way that Drupal or CiviCRM can't find something.

Check the settings under  Administer CiviCRM > Global Settings > Resource URL's (Make sure that the paths and the www et al are set correctly)

I reset these to the values whih were in the other install and it worked, although they are not the absolute path but the path from the drupal root.

But this was the testsite.

Now I am trying to do setup the production site and running into the same problem. I'm working on it.
