What happen to the Docs?
March 05, 2009, 06:31:52 pm
Hi - I am on the path of upgrading CiviCRM to 2.1.  I just finished rebuilding my 1.9 database which had problems and now I am ready to go on to 2.0 but the docs for anything but 2.1 have been missing since yesterday.

Also, is there anything that checks the database for problems before the upgrade?  I think I need the table checked for constraint errors before going to 2.0

Thanks

The documentation is going through a major overhaul. It was mentioned today in a blog post. http://civicrm.org/node/519

As for your second question, Walt here at DharmaTech built an upgrade tool to do just that. This should help you.

Hope it helps

Great info, but it doesn't explan how or where to get these tools and a search of the site doesn't either - I did a seach for Dharma Tech and their site doesn't mention the tools at all.

The tools can be downloaded from that wiki page. In the upper left corner, there is a link to the attachments to the page. Or go here: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/pages/viewpageattachments.action?pageId=14452230&metadataLink=true

I'll make that wiki page a little more clear and add these links to our website.

hope this helps
