Is there a way to add possible actions to the search results list of a profile (such as export contacts, tag contacts, map contacts...).
The same as show up when you use search and other result lists?
And if yes, is there a way to limit the possible actions (f.i. make it impossible to delete the contacts).
I don't think there is a solution in administer civicrm. But is it possible by changing something in the templates?
Or is the nature of "profiles" to different from "search"?

If you are a good developer on php5, then it is possible to add 'actions' to profile(s). The core code does not have support for it currently, but i think integrating support will not be too hard. if you think you want to go down this path contact us on IRC. I suspect we will integrate any changes you make in the 2.3 version of CiviCRM

also in 2.2 and later there are drupal hooks that will allow folks to tailor the tasks displayed to a specific user

It would be a great addition indeed.

(another place where actions would be proven handy is the relationship tab)
