[SOLVED] Just about the end of my tether now
March 07, 2009, 02:53:01 am
I've installed the Drupal version (white page), Joomla, (white page) and now I've installed the standalone on windows. Ah, I thought I'm getting somewhere I get the logon with openId, I get the openId registration type in myidentity.myopenid.com and lo and behold a white page!!!

If I type in http://www.myidentity.myopenid.com I am returned without warning back to the same page.

Advice appreciated!!

You don't have any error message ?

On drupal/joomla, do you have the CMS working and only having problem with civicrm ?

No error message. Basically, I have a local WAMP. When I type in my openId I go to http://localhost/civicrm/standalone/try_auth.php and that is a blank white page. As far as I can tell all folders and files (looking in windows file manager) are all control all users. I do not have FTP setup but I do have access to the site from Dreamweaver. I have explored the config files but gobbledegook to me although I could post them or tell what's in the DB. So I'm stuck. My only chance now is to get help from the forum.

Sorry, I spent so long fiddling with Drupal Joomla, I uninstalled them. This is my last ditch attempt at using civiCRM - I want the civiCase function mainly to start with. I got Joomla going but do not want users to login to the backend. It was Drupal that gave me a white page after install and as I don't know Drupal so well I gave up. The reason I've gravitated to standalone is that at the office where I volunteer I have setup a Ubuntu server and want to port the system to there when it's running on my laptop.

Did you try it without the "www." part? I.e. http://myidentity.myopenid.com/
