Tweaking CiviEvents
March 07, 2009, 02:34:48 pm
I have set up an event using CiviEvent -- it looks and works great. However I would like to know how to tweak 2 things:

1) Can I change the wording of "Register additional people for this event" button? The code function is fine -- I simply want to change the wording. How?

2) When people register additional people -- an e-mail address is REQUIRED for each participant. How do I eliminate that. I have created a user profile that I will use to pull registration information for participants and it does appear on the page but the e-mail field is there and REQUIRED...... I'm not seeing anywhere in the settings to remove that or if it is possible to tweak?

1. the easiest way to do so would be to customize:

templates/CRM/Event/Form/Registration/Register.tpl

and change the wording as needed

2. this has been fixed in the latest release of 2.2. it is now an option in your online registration event settings as long as you have first name and last name fields in your profile.
