Importing Data
March 13, 2009, 10:01:10 am
I am trying to import contact information from a CSV file into the CiviCRM database.

I am logged in as an Administrator.  The tutorial says that when I select Import I should get to a screen where I can browse for the name of the file containing the data to be imported.

However, when I click on import the screen I get only allows me to select the type of file I want to import (CSV) but does not allow me to browse to or enter the name of the file witht he data in it.

If I complete the form and submit it I get an error message asking for the neme of the file.

I suspect this may be a problem with the way that permissions are set up, but I can't find where to make the change.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thanks,

Rick

hi

It would be good if you update your forum profile with CiviCRM, Mysql, PHP versions.
