1.8 Alpha -> Beta Database upgrade
July 24, 2007, 12:49:07 am
It looks like the upgrade script from 1.7 -> 1.8 alpha did not include all the updates for to go to 1.8 beta/stable. For instance http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,693.msg2823.html#msg2823 civicrm_payment_processor_type table.

Will there be an upgrade script from 1.8 alpha -> beta/stable?

yes, there were bugs in the 1.7 -> 1.8 upgrade scripts. In the past we have not provided upgrade scripts from an alpha -> beta version. We'd prefer to continue this practice and avoid an additioanl upgrade script

In the worst case scenario, we can always help out and give you the diff between the alpha and beta versions of the upgrade script
