Event ID Not Saving When Addiing Menu
March 14, 2009, 02:06:11 pm
When we add new menu item, we do the following:
Add Menu Item
Type:
   CiviCRM
      Event Info
(we only have 2 events listed right now)
Title: View Event
Select an Event: 2
Click Apply.

When we do this, 'Select an Event' resorts back to 1. When we apply 'Select an Event' as 1 or 2, we get the following error when attempting to access the menu link:

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.
Could not find valid value for id
    Return to home page.

Thanks

Please try to replicate this on http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org.
Also update your forum profile.

I attempted to replicate this issue at http://joomla.demo.civicrm.org, but when I went to add a menu item as described above, I got the following error on your demo site:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/joomla.demo.civicrm.org/public/libraries/joomla/html/html/select.php on line 68

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/joomla.demo.civicrm.org/public/libraries/joomla/html/html/select.php on line 68

It looks like there's a problem on the Joomla! demo - we're looking at it. In the meantime, it would be best if you updated your profile more specifically.

Which exact version of CiviCRM and Joomla! are you using?
