How we can use HTML in CiviMail?

Hello
I made a mail in  html code when i received it in my messenger . It was complete code i had checked for both HTML Message and Text Message . why? cannot we use html inCiviMail? if we can use it then how?

Can you update your forum profile with CiviCRM, CMS, MySQL, and PHP versions.

We are having two formats of email - HTML and Text, You can take a look for Upload Message
also you might want to read about send mailing process
