DB Error: unknown error, can't find file: 'civicrm_domain'
March 17, 2009, 03:57:50 pm
I have CiviCRM installed to collect donations for a non-profit org (and maintain a contact DB). It has worked correctly for months (CiviCRM 2.0, Drupal 5.x).
However, now there is a serious error that crashes the site and makes it completely unaccessible.
The only way to 'get the site back' is to disable CCRM from the System Table in the Drupal DB. As soon as I re-enable Civicrm, the error returns.
CCRM errors are typically more discriptive, and help me troubleshoot. This seems to be very serious, and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice. Also please note that all of the CCRM tables in the DB say: "in use", which seems atypical.
Thanks for any advice.
A screenshot of the error is attached.

most likely your db is corrupted. you will need to ask your host to repair or restore from backup

thank you, that's what I feared. I'm working on restoring it.
The Error was fixed when the table civicrm_domain was repaired.
Thanks for your help!!
