My client has three custom fields for their Individuals.  Each custom field has the same option values.  But they signify different things like: my organization funds these options, I have expertise in these options, and I have interest in these options.  So, I've put together a profile to search the Individuals in the civicrm database.  My client wants to be able to search the three different fields which we have now, but it is super long!  I want to know how we can customize the search profile to have one of the fields, and whatever is searched on will return matches from the three different fields.  I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty with php, but i need to know where to look and get started.
