Custom file field on contribution page bug

Hi,

I ran across what seems to be a bug in 2.2.  I first created a custom field of type file that is associated with a contribution (any contribution type).  However, when I select a file on the contribution edit screen it does not appear on the contribution view screen.

This only happens with the file custom field type and only on contribution pages as far as I can tell - I tested that a file uploads/displays correctly when associated with a contact.

I have replicated it on the demo server.

Any insight or suggestions?

i replicated this locally also :(

can u please file an issue. we'll fix this for 2.2.1

i filed and fixed the issue: http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-4260

this will be part of 2.2.1
