I got caught out using this

http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/List+of+Upcoming+CiviEvents+or+Feed+of+Events

because the api/v2/event file had changed to limit events returned to 25. The page above gets all events & then limits them (perhaps not the best approach but for now I'm just changing the rows returned rather than looking at that)

line 150    $rowCount = 25;

the rowCount default is 25, you can send a parameter to the api with a higher number or 0 (for all records)
