PayPal problem caused by / in address
March 20, 2009, 09:33:44 pm
Hi Folks,

I have had a few issues when transferring from Civicrm to the Paypal Web Payments Pro where there is a / embedded in the individual's address.  E.g. Flat 5 / 24 Some Street, Somewhere.  The / gets embedded in the URL transferred to Paypal and Paypal interprets the / as a delimiter and fails with a 404 error.

As soon as the / is removed from the address the problem disappears.

It seems to be an error to me but I am posting it here in case it is an error on my part.

Regards
Martin Fuggle

CiviCRM version 2.1.4 - I no longer have 2.1.4 installed.  I tried to upgrade to 2.2.0 and encountered a problem with the rebuild of the CiviCRM menus and have upgraded to 2.1.6 as an interim step.

Is the patch mentioned already in 2.1.6?
