Alternatives for CiviSMTP?
March 23, 2009, 05:38:38 pm
Hi, I really need this service, but am unable to use the port specification.  Are there any other alternatives or other hosted solutions I can look at for this service?  The CiviCRM product seems PERFECT for our organization, but in order to make it really usable I need to be able to use mass opt-in emailings with it.  I cannot send through my host, let alone want to manage all the blacklist/spam stuff.  I really want to use this product but having to use a non-standard port is a deal breaker.  Advice please?

I am looking for alternatives as well. I have tried reaching the CiviSMTP folks for almost a month and have not heard back as to how they can set up a specific account for us. If you hear anything, let me know.

Hi all,

We have been in constant communication with Mr. Zamor.  We apologize to him and his organization publicly if our form of communication has not been to his liking.  That said, we can confidently say he has not been ignored.
