Testing to production server.
March 25, 2009, 08:41:34 am
Hi all,

I keep getting the following error on PHP 5.25, it works fine on my testing server, but when I post it to the production server, something goes hideously wrong:

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /home/birmingorg/public_html/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/CRM/Utils/File.php on line 114
Error: Could not create directory: .

Any ideas?

Cheers
Phil

P.S. I have followed this url: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Moving+an+Existing+Installation+to+a+New+Server+or+Location

The only exception being that I have also followed this instruction too:

If you have moved your database from a development install to a production install and the directory paths are different, please set the column config_backend in the civicrm_domain table to NULL. You will need to reinitialize your settings in the production install.

Hey,

If you pasted whole error, it seems like one of your directories in Administer CiviCRM -> Directories is set to "." - please verify if it's proper setting.

Also, which version of CiviCRM you're running?

Thx,
m
