Further Fatal Error
March 26, 2009, 12:39:55 pm
Every time I put the CIviCRM module in the htdocs/sites/all/modules folder, Drupal gives me the White Screen of Death when I try Administer>>build>>modules. When I look at the Apace (2.2) error log, it says:

[Thu Mar 26 15:11:35 2009] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP Fatal error:  require_once() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required 'CRM/Utils/System.php' (include_path='.;C:\\php5\\pear') in C:\\Program Files\\Apache Software Foundation\\Apache2.2\\htdocs\\sites\\all\\Modules\\civicrm\\drupal\\civicrm.module on line 239, referer: http://localhost/?q=admin/build/themes

An earlier response asked if CiviCRM was installed properly. As far as I can tell, it is, but it's not working, so maybe not. I do not have a file called civicrrm.module as described above in the drupal folder, just five more folders dealing with roles, sync, physicianhealth, and views.

Also, the default location for PHP in the PHP MSI I used was for C:/program files/php, so I changed it (and every pointer I could find) to C:/PHP. Still no luck.

I did increase the PHP memory to 256Mb (probably overkill) and increased its timeout limits, which helped with the WSOD earlier.

CiviCRM really sounds like what I need for several small non-profits I'm involved with, but not if it scuttles Drupal. (I tried the standalone version with no luck).

Thianks for any help.

Note that there are many (thousands) of Drupal sites running CiviCRM :-)

Sounds like you haven't downloaded the CiviCRM distribution for SourceForge - but rather just have some of the 3rd party Drupal-CiviCRM integration modules installed. (Note that CiviCRM is not distributed from Drupal.org)

Have you read and followed the steps for downloading and installing CiviCRM here?:

I got it from sourceforge, but may have had some download problems (although I think I checked the MD5) because I couldn't download the documentation at all until I tried later. I'll try again.
