Contact Dashboard for CiviMember - Renew Now Credit Card Fails

CiviCRM 2.1.4

When you go into a contact record and click on the membership tab and hit renew now credit card it results in a fatal error with the following error message and backtrace:

I should add that our Payment Processor is PayPal Standard

the above message indicates that we could not find a valid payment processor. For online membership renewal you need a payment processor that accepts credit cards on the web page (i.e. paypal pro, authorize.net etc).

Paypal Standard does not meet the above criteria. Hence it is a valid error message

We currently use PayPal standard for online membership renewal (where a user goes in and signs up for a membership using PayPal standard using a contribution page for the membership) and we have used it like that for the last year at least.

Are you saying that normally CiviMember shouldn't be able to allow for online self-service membership renewals or just that a back-office credit card renewal can only use Paypal Pro, authorize.net, etc and not Paypal standard?

Also, as of 2.2 the "Renew - Credit Card" link is hidden when you don't have a supported processor configured for the site.
