optOutUrl 2.2
March 30, 2009, 11:54:40 am
When I click the optOutUrl in the email it takes me to the optOut page on the website but when I press the Optout button, to confirm,  I'm transferred to the main page without any confirmation and nothing is recorded in civicrm.

When I reinstall 2.1 everything works ok. I have tried both 2.2.0 and 2.2.1 and they both produce the same error. Furthermore, between installations I have completely removed all civicrm related stuff, including all the tables in the database, to be sure to do a clean installation.

I have also noticed that any activity in civicrm results in a couple of 404 page not found errors in the web server log even though everything seems ok in civivrm.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
P-A

hi,

I have tried on my local install for v2.2
After hitting "Optout" button from opt out page, I am able to see opt out confirmation message "display name(email address) has been successfully opted out."
Also I got optout confirmation email which consists of "optOut" component message.

You might want to check "NO BULK EMAILS (User Opt Out)" flag for triggered contact record.
