Blank screen on step 2 of import
April 01, 2009, 08:57:10 pm
Hi,

I spent all afternoon setting up CIVIMAIL and it works great but now I cant import any of my contacts. I get a blank screen on step 2 when attempting to import from both the csv file and the sql query.

Using the latest version of CIVICRM with Joomla. 1.5.10.

I have tried every file size from 30 contacts all the way to over 10K contacts and still the same blank white screen.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

hi,

You might want to check these threads

Blank screen means some kind of fatal error. Do you have access to your apache error logs? Check those first.

Thanks Kiran. LOgs indicate this error:

PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Services_JSON. The thread I found here

http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php?topic=5886.0

was rather vague. I will have to continue to reasearch this but until then am very open to other ideas.

Thanks

I had this same error today.  For me, it was apparently a conflict with JomComment. I fixed it by temporarily disabling JomComment and my other Azrul plugins (under Extensions -->Plugin Manager).  Hope that helps somebody!

I got an error message about JSON, but that's about all I can tell you.  After I looked through this forum and the joomla forum, I suspected it had something to do with JomComment.  I'm not a programmer, so I was just happy that I got it to work!

Actually disabling all of Azruls plugins worked. Great Fix! Thanks
