CiviEvent Exposed to Views
April 03, 2009, 01:52:15 pm
Hi, this is pre-install question. I'm certain to propose my first CiviCRM install for a particular proposal I'm writing. But I have some questions.

Is CiviEvent data exposed to Drupal's Views module (D6 Views2)? The issue is flexibility in creating calendar views.

If CiviEvent is not exposed to Views... how about the other way around, if I created an event content-type om Drupal with date field and Drupal's signup module... Would CiviCRM be able to relate attendance recorded via sign-up module into CiviCRM.

Thanks,

Shai

Hi,

CiviEvent is exposed to Views - in terms of getting it into the calendar I'm not quite sure yet as this has been a rapidly moving area. Drupal has just updated the version of calendar to allow 'non-node tables' (such as civi) but I haven't tested & it maybe the civi code needs patching. But there is quite a lot of interest & quick movement in this area so I'd be very surprised if it's not all good in a month's time
