Bulk Mailing does not send

Hi,

I checked the other two similar topics but found only part of my needed solutions.

Situation: Bulk mails do not get sent, nor does the test message (neither to an individual adress nor to a test group).

What I did so far:
- SMTP is configured and that test message comes through to me.
- created a cronjob and the mailings get triggered without an error message. (in CiviMail it tells me the start and end time and says it is completed)

I do not get any error messages anywhere... the mailings just simply do not get send!

Anybody an idea?

Hi,

thanks for you reply, but unfortunately that did not help either. i wish I could give more Information or an error message, But I just dont get any!

any other ideas?

hi,

I would like to do
1. perform 'Send an Email' activity Or 'Send Email to Contacts' from search context to own contact record.
2. create new mailing group add own contact to group and try to send mailing to this group.

hi,

thanks for suggestions, here are the results:

1. I performed the search, sent an e-mail to all contacts (3 different e-mail adresses of myself): Were sent and I received them without a problem.

2. I created a new mailing to a new group with the same adresses in it: No error message, but I did not get any e-mail.
I triggered the mailing manually and it gives me a start and enddate.

It still is pretty mysterious to me!

Any more ideas?

triggering a mailing should not give you anything, including start/end date. so am wondering if u are calling the right script. can u post the url you are using (obfuscate host name / user / password / key)

Hi,

that particular page does not give me anything, only in CiviMail under "Scheduled and sent" mailings (where all the mailings are listed) there is an entry for "started" and "completed".

The URl is http://www.****.**/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/bin/civimail.cronjob.php?name=****&pass=****&key=****
