Can't ceate a frontend link for Event or Contribute Module
April 06, 2009, 09:08:53 am
I earlier reported this as a Contribute module issue http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,7297.0.html, but am now finding that it applies to the Event and Profile module as well.

The Joomla Demo is returning an error under the MenuManager>MainMenu>New>MenuItem:CivCRMN>(select Contribute,Register for Events or Profile View) and you get the following error in the Demo version of 2.2 of the Parameters Basic section (I get a blank yellow field in my installation):

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/joomla.demo.civicrm.org/public/libraries/joomla/html/html/select.php on line 68

Is this being experienced by all? Is this a bug that is scheduled to be fixed?

Thanks,
Dan

I think the demo site is running an older version of Civi, and the J! menus aren't working correctly. I just did a clean install of v2.2.2 on my testing server and there are no errors when creating a menu item.
