I have just recently finished a set of requirements for a volunteer center and would be happy to share the requirements.  I'm also a programmer and would be happy to work with a group to add a volunteer management section - but would need help on how to best bring this in.  Can anyone let me know of a group / place / method?

you might also want to peruse

and see if you can consolidate the two specifications

May I ask what is the current status of the CiviVolunteer module?  Is it still at a very early stage or are we close to completion?
