Import stops at 15
April 07, 2009, 07:43:44 am
I have about 1,000 names to import.  When I run it it only imports the first 15 names.  (I'm checking for dups and tagging them)

I thought I remembered reading about this from someone else, but I couldn't find the post.

I'm on a shared host so what might be happening is that civiCRM only has the capacity to import 15 names at a time and I'm going to have to just do my import 70 times.  That's still better than having it continually time out.

Any thoughts about this.  Am I overlooking something?
Thanks to those who help create and enhance civiCRM!

I was having this exact problem. Make sure you don't have any empty columns. Once I got rid of the empty column in my source .csv file, I was able to import...at least up to 1and1's limitations.

Mine usually stops around 50. I am on shared hosting as well, but have uped my PHP memory limits substantially to no success. Is there any way someone can write a patch that will allow civicrm to re-use memory.
