Mutli day events

Is it possible to set up an event (workshop) that consists of multiple days. Like a class that runs each Monday for 4 weeks?

are the fees and registration for the entire class? if so, the schedule (i.e. runs every monday for 4 weeks) is not very relevant to the event regisration process

or is it a recurring event with a different class registration needed for each of the weeks?

I have the same issue and although the fee for the event is a one time fee and not a per session fee, (for instance $50 for 8 classes, every Monday for eight weeks), I would still like to be able to note that the event is each Monday so that I can dynamically pull that info to the web site.  I have gotten around this temporarily by creating custom fields, but it feels awkward.  Do you have suggestions?

Lobo and Sandy,

Thanks for the info. I'm in the same boat as Sandy. Needing an easy way to post recurring series events on a calendar. Sandy, do you mind posting here or sending me a direct email about what custom fields you set up?

Thanks,
Mark

might want to check: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/CiviRepeat+-+Clone+CiviEvents+based+on+a+repeat+pattern

and potentially adapt that for your needs
