Problem installing CIVICRM on Joomla
April 11, 2009, 10:08:17 am
Hello All,

Hope you can help.

Here is my website info:
PHP Version:       5.2.6
Web Server:       Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) PHP/4.4.9 mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8c mod_fastcgi/2.4.6 Phusion_Passenger/2.0.6 DAV/2 SVN/1.4.2
Web Server to PHP interface:       cgi-fcgi
Joomla! Version:       Joomla! 1.5.10 Production/Stable [ Wohmamni ] 27-March-2009 23:00 GMT

I placed "civicrm-2.2.2-joomla-alt.zip" in the /root/tmp folder. I installed it, and CIVICRC appears in the Joomla Components section.

However, when I try to run any portion of CIVICRM, I get the following warnings and errors:

Code: [Select]
Warning: include_once(civicrm.settings.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/stsavacle/saintsavachurch.org/administrator/components/com_civicrm/admin.civicrm.php on line 13

Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'civicrm.settings.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/stsavacle/saintsavachurch.org/administrator/components/com_civicrm/admin.civicrm.php on line 13

Warning: require_once(CRM/Core/Config.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/stsavacle/saintsavachurch.org/administrator/components/com_civicrm/admin.civicrm.php on line 17

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'CRM/Core/Config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/stsavacle/saintsavachurch.org/administrator/components/com_civicrm/admin.civicrm.php on line 17

I tried searching the forums, but cannot see this specific scenario.

Thankyou.

Did you unpack the zip file in the tmp folder, and install from that resulting directory?
/root/tmp/com_civicrm/
