Not sure if I am posting this in the correct area.

I have created two custom fields that I want to require when a user first creates their user ID. Initially they were in a separate profile, but that profile was not displayed during the initial user setup, only if they edit their account. So I added them to the Name and Address profile, but the same thing happened. They do not appear until the account is edited. How do I make sure that the fields are entered at registration time?

logged in as drupal administrator and go to "Administer" -> "User management" -> "Permissions"
make sure anonymous user have "access all custom data" permission.
