I'm entering some new contacts (individuals) by hand, and editing some that have been copied over from the Drupal user list. The problem I have is that the entry for "OpenID (preferred)" in the primary location section always defaults to the openID I used to log in to Drupal with. Not only that, but it seems to auto-fill the same thing into several identical fields. I have to manually empty each one before I can save the contact. This is a pain.

What options do I have? Can I simply remove the OpenID field from the contact record? (Why would I want it, anyway?) If not, how can I change this behavior? Any help appreciated.
