Hi - we have been using the occasional html tag in the Field Label in order to easily improve the look of event/donation forms in civicrm - eg placing a <HR> at the beginning of a label in order to create the impression of a 'section' within the form.

This is fine for minor tweaking. however just spotted that the email receipt that gets sent when event registration form is filled in displays the html tags as text - not surprising really.

Just wondered if anyone had a quick suggestion for modifying the code that generates the txt receipt so that it hides/ignores/removes the html tags.

if not I guess we go back to playing with tpls.

As it happens, I just shifted all the code bits in to the Field Help for the field above and got the look that I wanted.

It makes me feel that a 'dud' profile field might be an easy way to implement this feature. I.e. we can enter a 'dud' field where we want to use just the Field Help in order to make some nice section breaks.

Dave? Lobo? I will articulate this better when we meet up but might be a nice easy fix for these profile design issues.

Indeed - keen to have a look at doing this as it if simple would make profiles a whole lot more pleasurable on the eye.
