Small job - troubleshoot MySQL user grants for CiviCRM & Drupal settings files
April 15, 2009, 04:14:50 pm
I have just moved a CiviCRM+Drupal site for a non-profit assoc from a production server to a live host and I'm having a few problems. I need assistance with two things:

1. I can't get the grants for my CiviCRM database to work. I need you to troubleshoot why the database user doesn't have the correct grants and assign super privs to the user.

2. I'm also having difficulty getting the DB for the related Drupal install up and running. I've triple-checked my settings.php file, but still can't resolve this.

The webhost is my own VPS running WHM/cPanel. I would prefer to work on this collaboratively so I can learn - via chat if possible.
I'm located in Vanuatu in the S Pacific, so someone close to my timezone (GMT+11) would be preferred.

Is this related to your other discussion about triggers & INNODB?
