Template for Contribution Page?
April 17, 2009, 12:27:46 pm
Hi,
We only want to accept PayPal.  However, I am having a hard time getting my contribution page to only show the PayPal button -
it still wants to also ask for a credit card.  I do not want it to ask for a credit card, as we do not have a processor other than PayPal.
I cannot find any easy way to fix this.  Can you please tell me how I can fix the page so it only shows the PP button?  Or is that even
possible?

Thank you in advance  :)

- Jenn

CiviCRM has got to be the most un-user friendly program that I've ever worked with.
I can't find anyone local to help me.  I can't find anyone on the internet to help me.
And heaven forbid if I could find an answer to my problem in the mountains of documentation
provided at the CiviCRM website.  Very  :(

Hmm. Lots of folks (including me) work quite hard answering the hundreds of posts on this forum every day - free of charge.  ???

This is a community supported project - so we encourage folks to help clarify and improve the documentation as they see holes or problems. We are also planning a Book Sprint - to build a book that covers "how to's" for common configuration tasks and hopefully makes it easier for new people to get the "big picture". We need people who are new to CiviCRM to help as reviewers as we work on the book:

In any case - if you configure PayPal Website Standard (as opposed to PayPal Pro) as your payment processor - you should NOT be seeing fields for credit card info on your contribution page.
