Weird Characters in Reply Emails

We are getting some weird characters in email replies. I know there was a previous post on this issue (http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php?topic=6357.0), but it was supposed to be fixed on 2.2. We are on Joomla 1.5.8 and CiviCRM 2.2.beta2 but the problem still exists.

can u please upgrade to 2.2.2 (from 2.2.beta2)

this was fixed in a late release

I just upgraded to 2.2 and I'm having a new problem. The weird characters are gone but now the report on my mailings is not working. When I click on "Report," here is the error I get:

I just realized something. I am sure I had 2.2.beta2 as I checked before I submitted my very first post. Now (after upgrade to 2.2.2 from here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=177914&package_id=205038&release_id=673168), in the footer of the CiviCRM Home Page is says that I'm running "Powered by CiviCRM 2.2.alpha1."

i'm assumign u did all the steps mentioned in:

http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Upgrade+Joomla+Sites+to+2.2

specifically step 4

can you try following the steps for "reset session" and see if that helps

Since it says "you have already upgraded to the latest version," I figured everything is okay.

I am ashamed to post this reply. I was stupidly installing an old version (2.2.alpha1) that was sitting on my host instead of the new version (2.2.2). Everything checked out smoothly after I realized this and I'm really sorry to bug some of you with this stupid mistake, especially lobo.
