A bit more information : I did a reset and cleanup as per the instructions and do a fresh import. I only get one error now:

Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/britanni/public_html/trbcp/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/CRM/Import/Parser/Contact.php on line 921

I recently did the upgrade and now when I run an import I get lots of errors. Below is an extract of the last few lines:

When performing the upgrade I did not un-install the existing version of CiviCRM. I uploaded and installed which worked fine, then ran the database upgrade, again working fine and not reporting any errors.

Any help gratefully accepted.

Damian,

Can you try to replicate this issue on http://joomla.demo.civicrm.org? We you are able to replicate it, do file an issue with sample csv file.
