Hi,

I'm experiencing a problem when sending out HTML messages using CiviMail. It seems CiviMail somehow changes all URLs (links and images) from their full path "http://www.server.com/images/newsletter/blank.gif" to local paths "../images/newsletter/blank.gif". Therefore when subscribers open the newsletter, none of the images are being shown and all links are broken.

I've checked the base URL configuration and that is set correctly (http://www.server.com/). I've also tried to purge/delete the "template_c" folder and all of its subfolders/files and this didn't help either. Also I disabled the url tracking and this didn't help either.

Any further suggestion or ideas on how to resolve this issues would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I wasn't able to replicate this issue on your demo site (works like a charm).

But when I tried to upgrade our CiviCRM copy I noticed we're already running version 2.2 (It was listed earlier as 2.1. - my mistake) and are nevertheless still experiencing this issue.

Any other ideas? Might update to 2.2.2. do the trick?

I had the same issue, using TinyMCE on 2.2.1.  I tried the upgrade to 2.2.2, but the same problem happened.  I switched to FCKeditor, and that did the trick.  (Unfortunately, I don't know if it's simply switching to FCKeditor or whether it also required an upgrade.)

Can you let a newbie know how to do that? Switch the editor?

Administer CiviCRM >> Global Settings >> Preferences

In order for the links to keep the correct formatting, I need to disabled the "Track Click-throughs?"

Can you clarify what formatting ? You can disable "Track Click-throughs?" in Track and Respond (step 2 of 5) step of mailing.
