Hi,

I'm having problems with using a standalone form in Joomla. Am wanting a profile in a module, so I've used the code from the Standalone form. However, it doesn't work. I tried playing around with it and looking at the component method of using profiles (which do work) and the only difference I found was the hidden input qfkey. So I added qfkey into my standalone form and it worked perfectly... For a while and only for me...

Now as far as I can gather - qfkey changes periodically and is based on sessions? But I've no way to automatically track those changes, meaning that my standalone form is effectively useless unless there is a way to do it without using qfkey (which the standalone form seems to apply there is).

I thought maybe I'd done something wrong in copying the standalone form, so I tried literally copy/pasting the standalone form code into a blank html document and testing that. I still get the same issue, so there is obviously a problem somewhere, but I can't for the life of me work out where. Have I got a setting wrong somewhere?

I'm sure our absolute paths are set correctly. The only other thing I've seen has been about an anonymous user with id 0, but that was all in reference to Drupal...
