Linking to Contacty Dashboard
April 23, 2009, 10:21:36 pm
Hi everybody,

I'm working with Views2 and CiviCRM 2.1 and Views 6.x. I have a list of contacts nicknames but need to link them to the dashboard of the Contact. Using [nick_name] i get to an wrong URL.

Any suggestion?

Cheers!

Try adding Contact ID as a field, invisible, and make it first in the list. Then when creating custom link paste this contact ID token to appropriate place.

Danila

Hi Danila, thanks for your answer :)

I did exactly what you say, but something is wrong with my linking. Using this URL civicrm/contact/view?reset=1&cid=[id] to link the name of the Contacto to its profile I always get another page :(

civicrm/contact/view?reset=1%2526amp%3Bcid%3D559

Is there something wrong? Thanks for your help.

Regards
Marconi
