AJAX Error after Upgrade to 2.2.2
April 27, 2009, 01:16:49 pm
I am receiving this error after upgrade from 2.1 to 2.2.2:

warning: CRM_Core_Invoke::require_once(CRM/Core/Page/AJAX.php) [crm-core-invoke.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/tdalum/public_html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Core/Invoke.php on line 183.

Also, I cannot use the country and state fields when editing a record.  If I select the country, I get no states.  My localization settings are correct, that is not the problem.  They are also just regular drop downs now, not AJAX fields.

Thanks for any help,
Eric

CRM/Core/Page/AJAX.php, has been deleted for v2.2. Can you logout / login , clear your cache and delete template_c directly and check if its working..

I just did the following:

  • Cleared the Drupal cache
  • Cleared the Views cache
  • Cleared CiviCRM sessions through civicrm/admin?sessionReset=2

My problem is still occurring.  I get the AJAX error message and if I select United States from the country drop down, I loose all the states in the state drop down.

Many thanks for your help,
Eric

most likely you have two versions of civicrm under your drupal root. One of the versions is an older 2.1.x version and hence u r seeing this error

Thanks, it seems that I was careless with the location of my backup copy of 2.1.  I removed it, cleared caches, reset sessions, and reset menus, and now it seems to be working.

Thanks again,
Eric

I'm getting this error too, with exactly the same side effects. I'm pretty sure that I don't have a backup of civicrm within my drupal root so I'm not sure what's going on.

I did have trouble upgrading to 2.2.2 though. I think it hung in the middle of the process, so I had to edit the version file to fool the system into thinking that it was still using the old version before upgrading again. Could that have something to do with this?

How do you reset menus?

This error seems to be affecting a lot of things in the system, so I'm really keen to get to the bottom of this.

if u r getting the same error, then u have an old version under your modules directory as we've mentioned above. since u did have upgrade issues, you might want to restore 2.2.1 version and ensure u have a clean upgrade to 2.2.2

I definitely didn't have another copy, but I deleted the version I was using and installed 2.2.2 again and it fixed the problem.
