Are the records indexed by robots?

We intend to make public a big directory of organisations. And we prefer as many people could use it  ;D
Are the records of CiviCRM indexed by Google and others or not?
If not, is it any system to make thos records indexed?
Thanks

It depends on how your site is built. If you don’t have a robots.txt file blocking spider access to your contents and there is a way for the spiders to walk through all the records, then the records should be indexed just fine.
If you found the above helpful, please consider helping us in return – you can even steer CiviCRM’s future and help us extend CiviCRM in ways useful to you.
