Missing the action "send email to contacts"

After searching for the contact I am interested in, I select the contact and then click the "Actions" list. The option for "send email to contacts" is missing!   How do I enable this action?

This is a new install of CiviCRM 2.2.2

Hi

Go to CiviCRM Admin-> Global Settings -> Outbound Email (SMTP/Sendmail)

Configure SMTP / Sendmail

send email to contacts option will appear in action list
The community around a product more important than the product itself?
