First time using and requesting support
July 30, 2007, 11:14:39 am
I just got a contract to develop a site for a non profit. I'm reviewing all of the documentation in an effort to find out exactly what I need to ask the organization. For example, how many groups within your company will need different levels of access to the website? Staff, Development Team, Board Members, Development committee etc...

I like making things into systems, so I don't miss anything.

Thanks
Lafayette

Lafeyette - Welcome to the CiviCRM community! In addition to the Plan and Use sections at http://documentation.civicrm.org - you might want to review http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRM/Organizing+Your+Data - which was contributed by an integrator/developer a while back.

Otherwise - it is probably best to play around with a local install (or our public demo - http://demo.civicrm.org/drupal) and then search this forum for posts related to your questions - and/or post specific questions here.
